Danny has extensive field operations experience including roles as the COO of Satellites Unlimited and the CEO of McKinney Communications. Danny was a cofounder of McKinney Capital and helped lead the acquisition of Landscape Workshop, a former McKinney Capital portfolio company, and execute the growth strategy. He currently serves on the Investment Committee for McKinney Capital and the Board of Directors for McKinney Communications and Landscape Workshop. He graduated with honors from the University of Alabama where he received a BS in International Finance and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
Danny’s philosophies on business include establishing clear values and goals, creating an environment for success and rewarding the doers.
Danny takes time out of his schedule to serve on the boards of The Birmingham Education Foundation, Jones Valley Teaching Farm, The Alabama Symphony Orchestra, and The Historic Bethel Baptist Church.
In his spare time, Danny enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his wife and son.
